December is here! It’s Christmas time officially!
As it should the city is preparing the season, and has a various and intense program for the holidays!
First things first: today all the city lightning’s and decorations will be turned on! At 5:30 pm the big tree in front of the City Hall will be a pretty magical thing to see! Don’t forget!
But this weekend has also other things for you to do! Take a look:
Artesanatus fair is back to the D. João I square. As usually around this time, the big handcrafts fair takes over and is here to promote traditional and contemporary handcrafts and skills works. It’s a display of quality, originality and authenticity. From December 1st to the 23rd.
On Friday you can go to Casa da Música, the most known concert hall in the city and enjoy the release of the album “Tremble Like a Flower” from de brilliant Portuguese artist Bloom – JP Simões. 2nd of December in the Casa da Música Café, at 22:30 pm, free entrance.
From today, until January 8th Porto is getting a new ice rink! Better: two ice rinks, one covered and other in open sky! So if you are a fan of ice skating or you are travelling with children, this is the perfect experience to have in Porto this time of year!
