weekend

Tonight will be the opening of Inventions of Leonardo da Vinci, at the Alfândega building. This exhibition is the most complete and interactive show dedicated to his work! It showcases 64 inventions, 60 prototypes and 200 reproductions designed by the Renaissance genius. Da Vinci was not only a successful artist but also a great researcher and inventor!

The exhibition will be happening until July 31st and tickets cost 12€ (adults) and 8€ (kids up to 12 years).

weekend

Also tonight it will happen a free concert at Casa da Música! Go there at 10 pm to check the work of the Brazilian singer and poet Luca Argel, launching his second album Bandeira. His music is influenced by the traditional Brazilian samba but with a contemporary twist!

Also, a good reason to visit the amazing building designed by Rem Koolhaas ;)

weekend

On April 1st, Maus Hábitos – a mix of restaurant, art space and club, and one of the coolest places in Porto – will be celebrating its 16o anniversary! The occasion will be marked with a day full of events, with a book and publication market, Dj sets and live concerts.

Starting at 2 pm, you can go there for a delicious lunch and hang out – the party will be held until 5 am!

Also on Saturday you can check the 4th edition of Mercado Caótico (Chaotic Market) at CCOP (near Batalha Square and Poveiros Square).

From 11 am to 6 pm you can pass by and check vintage and second-hand items, as well as the newest artistic production happening in town. AN4ENA will be in charge of the music and from 2 pm onwards Café CCOP will be serving snacks.

We hope you enjoy our tips and go explore Porto this weekend! And remember: you can always contact us to visit the city with a local expert guide. We will be happy to share “our” Porto with you!
