Are you ready for a great weekend in Porto? So let’s start with the kids! The Trengo, a circus festival, has been enchanting the children of the city since May and this will be the last weekend of performances. Bringing together illusionism, manipulation of objects, juggling, balancing, music and dramatic arts, this festival is a mandatory event! Set at the beautiful gardens of Palácio de Cristal, you can check out the shows on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th. The opening show will take place at Miguel Bombarda Street at 4 pm. Quite close to the Crystal Palace there’ll be another cycle of simultaneous openings in the art galleries at Miguel Bombarda Street. This event, iconic in Porto, will brighten up your weekend! In this edition, 18 galleries will be open from 4 pm to present new exhibitions. At the same time, street animation is a must!
Porto Beer Fest is back again! Until June 18th the gardens of the Crystal Palace will host another craft beer festival. Drinks will be served with street food and a parallel program of concerts and DJ sets. Following the latest trends in the European brewer market, more than 30 national and international breweries will be ready serve, allowing visitors to sample more than 200 styles of beer. This year, the organization presents also 18 proposals of street food – not only Portuguese but from all around the word. The highlight of the music section will be Vurro’s performance, a “one man band” that became a viral phenomenon on the Internet in 2016, mainly for its classic rock’n’roll compositions.
